Bang your head twice on the table if you´ve never thought about going out for kayaking in Nepal.
I
know, many places in the world offer great whitewater but hey, where can you get it white, warm and wild. A
real wwww (white, warm, wild, water).
Plus, obviously you can choose between big, medium, small, steep,
surf and creek.
Thus, bang it again on the table if you had missed out. Nepal has it all.
What it also has is the Thule Behri, by the few people which have been out there (Scott Lindgren, Peter Knowles, Gerry Moffat and others) it is the best river the Himalayas have to offer.
But First you need to warm up. The Bothe Koshi (IV), Bothe Koshi Gorge (IV-VI) and Tamba Koshi (IV+) are exactly what is needed.
I don´t know why we always photograph the small rapids.
Some nice water on the Tamba Koshi and we should be ready to go out for the Thule Bheri.
