The Mewa Khola

A great creek to be paddeled in combination with the Tamur. If combined with the Trek (or fly in to Taplejung). You are looking at some cristall clear water dropping through a great gorge with the path never too far away. There surely are more sections higher up. The river does dissapear in bolder chokes a few times, so descent carefully, especially in higher flows (begin of November!).

Ideal is to fly in and then walk up for one long day to Shigratti. This would set you up nicely for a 2 day descent of this jewel. Then jump into the Tamur and enjoy this great river.
