Rafting/Kayaking Karnali
The
Karnali river travels from the holy Mt. Kailash in Tibet and through Nepal into the Ganges, draining most of West
Nepal and thus becoming the biggest River of this Himalayan Country.
Breaking deep
gorges into the Himalayas and creating a beautiful natural river delta within the Bardia National Park, the Karnali
will immediatly embrace you with it´s beauty and power.
Secluded beaches,
wild rapids and steaming jungles with a multitude of wildlife the Karnali has it´s beauty deep within its
gorges and along the vast jungle it is travelling through.

Where will you be
going:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Pre Departure Meeting.
Day 2: Fly to Surkhet. Meet Raft Team. Drive to the Put In.
Day 3: Raft Karnali. The Action begins straight away.
Day 4: No letting
down. The Karnali is still breaking through the hills.
Day 5: Our final day of big
Whitewater. Continious and comitting, a real challenge for the rafter. The Seti Karnali confluence marks the place
of the final Break through of the Karnali.
Day 6: The beautiful beach of the Seti
Karnali confluence offers itself for a rest day after all the action on the river.
Day 7/8: The Karnali has now changed his flow and calmed down while travelling down to the plains. Enjoy,
as the world is passing by.
Day 9: A quick paddle out, before the Jeep will either
bring you to the Airport or to Bardia Nationalpark (optional).
Day 10: Sightseeing,
Rest in Kathmandu. (Bardia/Option)
